Vallensons’ Brewing Company was founded by spouses Valle and Lori. Valle is a U.S. Air Force veteran whose love for craft beer began while traveling the world. What started as a garage hobby nearly two decades ago, evolved into a true passion—one that earned him national recognition and inspired him to share his creations with a wider community.
In 2014, Valle, and his wife Lori, began the journey of turning their dream into reality, securing land in their hometown of Pearland, Texas. After years of planning and community support, Vallensons’ Brewing Company officially opened its doors on May 27, 2017.
Today, it stands as a family- and pet-friendly brewery offering a diverse selection of beers, ciders, and wines—paired with food trucks, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere for all.
The name Vallensons is deeply personal and rooted in family, tradition, and heritage. It was created to reflect the Brewmaster Valle himself, along with his two sons, Valle and Kaia.

Valle (“Val” for short) is an Estonian family name that has been handed down through multiple generations. Valle’s heritage is an important part of his identity and a tribute to the resilience, pride, and craftsmanship often associated with Estonian culture. The pronunciation of Vallensons’—“Val-N-sons”—was chosen deliberately, honoring both the Estonian name and the central role family plays in the story of the brewery.

The Settler’s Oatmeal Stout honors the early settlers who laid the foundation for what Pearland would one day become. These pioneers embodied hard work, determination, and a deep connection to the land—qualities we strive to reflect in every batch we brew.
The Advocate Amber Ale is named after Pearland’s very first newspaper, The Pearland Advocate, a publication that captured the heartbeat of the growing community. In much the same way, we aim to be a voice and a presence in our city—celebrating its past while helping shape its future.
The Depot Pale Ale pays homage to the historic train depot, which played a vital role in Pearland’s development by connecting the town to commerce, culture, and new opportunities. Just as the train depot once welcomed travelers and locals alike, we hope Vallensons’ serves as a modern-day gathering place where people come together to share good times and great beer.
